 My pictures and objects convey my impressions of people and mankind. I'm interested in the different stratifications of life and I try to give form to the complications that arise.
I reflect upon and rework fragments of our time. I want to give ordinary day-to-day life a poetical value.
The etched plates themselves form the actual foundation of the pictures.

sculpture
The sculptures are handmade flaxfiber paper and figures with a steel string construction.
They are challenging, occasionally whimsical figures, and stand naked, disembowelled, charred and exposed.
They show an anguished fragility, emitting an inner light and strength.
They have an aura of a mystical secretiveness.

 

textile

 A textile expression to me really is something indiscribable.It´s in-between the two and three- dimensional. It´s a femal language specially fit to mould visions and experiences. For me a textile expression is a road to the sublime.
